MODEL RELEASES
Make sure your models sign a release and if they are under 18 have a parent or guardian present. I digitize and save all model releases in google drive. There are even apps for your phone or tablet that allow the model to sign a release right at the shoot.
CONTRACTS
You must have a separate contract one for portraits and another for events. There should be a sectional clause for model releases. I own all the copyrights to the photos I’ve taken because I have the signed contracts.
